WASHINGTON — Jon Bon Jovi already has given $2,800 to Cory Booker’s presidential campaign. He’s about to raise a lot more for him.

The Jersey rocker will host a fundraiser for the Jersey senator at his East Hampton home on Long Island Aug. 18, Booker’s campaign said Monday. Tickets cost $1,000, with members of the host committee agreeing to raise at least $15,000.

The fundraiser was first reported by the New York Post.

Bon Jovi joined Phil Murphy at the governor’s home in March to raise money for Booker, who trailing several of his rivals in both campaign cash and polling.

Booker raised $4.5 million from April to June, and entered July with $5.4 million in the bank. Democratic rivals Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg all reported raising more than twice as much money during the three-month period.

Through June 30, Booker raised $12.4 million, including $2.7 million transferred from his Senate committee.

He did get enough donations from individual donors to qualify for the next two presidential debates in September and October.
