Greater L.I. teams with Long Island Job Finder, offering up ‘Great Jobs’ for locals

The Long Island Job Finder employment newspaper and website has just joined forces with the fastest-growing online news network on Long Island.

Greater Long Island Media Group, LLC, and its partner-publishers currently operate six local news websites in Suffolk County: GreaterPatchogue, GreaterBayShore, GreaterBabylon, GreaterPortJeff, GreaterMoriches, and the brand-new GreaterSayville, which launched in May.

All the sites can be accessed by visiting greaterlongisland.com. Each now features a Great Jobs tab in the main menu for access to real, local and relevant jobs through LIJobFinder.com.

The Long Island Job Finder is the only newspaper and website combination focused solely on Long Island jobs.

Now in it’s 20th year, the Job Finder gives job seekers free access to openings from companies all across Long Island, by either picking up the newspaper at hundreds of high foot traffic locations or by going online to the Long Island Job Finder website at www.LiJobFinder.com.

As for the Greater-brand of news websites, they’re on pace to be viewed over 3.3 million times in 2019 alone, by 2.4 million unique visitors. [Note: These figures were updated on Oct. 25.]

“We believe this a great opportunity to team with a group of very exciting and very popular local, community news-based sites that will put our clients ads in front of hundreds of thousands of Long Islanders who are eager to find a new job or new career,” said Long Island Job Finder’s publisher and founder, Dean Murray.

“This new partnership allows us to offer an additional service to our visitors, while keeping with the local flavor that makes our sites so popular,” said Michael White, Greater Long Island’s founder and editorial director.

The Great Jobs links went live on the sites earlier this month.

As part of the arrangement, Greater Long Island advertisers will also receive discounts on posting job listings through Long Island Job Finder.

All listings appear both online and in print.
